What was once an "old" hotel is now "dressed up nicely" with an "elegant" and "impressive" atrium, "bright" remodeled rooms and "wonderful beds" topped with "plenty of pillows"; it's all enhanced by an "attentive" staff, but critics wish the "marginal" food and location "in the middle of nowhere" were better.

My favorite hotel in the Concord area. Great enclosed public area with
ponds and lighted trees.

The luggage carriers are cheap and falling apart literally. More upkeep necessary.

4 hour party from 6-10pm; very very loud.

To call this hotel a 4 star hotel is a joke. Hotel is rundown. Public areas were dirty. Room was dirty and in disrepair. For example, the inside of the bathroom door had a corner torn off. And found long hairs on the floor behind toilet. But the biggest problem was the 4 hour party that the hotel had booked in the inner courtyard. The noise was intolerable. When I finally called at 9pm to complain, I was told that they were very sorry and that they usually did not book the interior rooms when they scheduled a party. The bed was super - the best.

Bathroom wall paint peeling - lots broken, loud Saturday night event.

Location is excellent - just lacing in lots areas for a 3 1/2 * . The Hilton nearby is 3 1/2* also, and that location deserves. Not Crown Plaza - this should be 3*

Close to other dining. Nice onsite dining. Friendly staff. Nice decor.

The bathroom was really cramped, but acceptable. There was no refrigerator.

I really enjoyed staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Concord. I attended a 3-day workshop with my spouse and the comfort and beauty of the hotel was top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or pleasure. ...read more

Elegant, peaceful, relaxing.

Wallpaper peeling, rust door jams, limited cable TV no micro or mini fridge.

The business center is very limited. One computer and a difficult nonworking copier/fax. Even had it been working it would have been at best confusing. At midnight there was still a wait. When notified of the printer problem one staffer stated he would get help but didn't. ...read more

Parking was free.

The indoor pool was very Small.

I have stayed at this hotel several times a few years ago and it seemed to be much better run. The staff at the desk was friendlier and much more accomodating.
